back story:
     Swampy lived in her cottage with her parents since her birth, and her parents died after a long sickness. After taking care of her parents, and burying them to the surrounding swamp, she lived alone in her cottage. Sometimes visiting Ponyville for groceries, she started grow hatred and fear towards other ponies for their differences in looks and their bit reserved behavior towards Swampy. In time jealousy appeared, and she wished she could be like the 'normal' ponies in Ponyville.
    For this hatred and jealousy, Swampy is always sulking and angry towards surrounding creatures _{(that's why no fish accompanies her)}. In truth she is just scared.
