I really love this icon and I'd be glad if Pam could use it as their avatar blinking so I thought I could give you a piece of advice~
Some of my icons have over 30 frames and I'm still able to use them because I optimize them.
The maximum that dA accepts for avatars is 15 kb and that many frames go over, but after I'm done with the icon I optimize it using GIMP and save it as a separate file just to be sure.
If you don't have GIMP, you could optimize it for free on a site called LunaPic, just upload the finished image here: www171.lunapic.com/editor/?act… After you have uploaded it click on "Save as Optimized Gif".
Optimizing an animated gif it will make it have less frames and on my last icon it went from the original size of 28.3 kb to 2.63 kb or so; it's a huge difference.
