First of all, sorry that this is so late. But if you've read my journals, you should know that I've lost the pen for this tablet like two or three times, and it was missing in total like for a month or even more, and I simply just can't draw with another shit u know. So I hope that you understand me. And the other reason is that I kinda lost these ready pictures on my computer, so I haven't been able to submit these (for example this one has been ready for a month or more). And the last reason, I've always been, and unfortunately will always be, very slow doller and I take huge amount of time to do these dolls. Sooooo I'm very sorry, guys.
And now for the 'real thing', this is Antoinette, ~ThorLicksMe's lovely character, who was absolutely pleasure to doll. I'm happy how the hair came out, tho' earlier it lookeed better to me. But I hope that you like it too. And that rose hasn't anything to do with the character or design, since it's steampunk and not some romantic shit idk. But I wanted to add it there because without the rose it looked kinda stupid. And sorry that the picture's so huge, I made it smaller and smaller but then I just asfjdshfgkl and stuff u know. So sorry that it's not that complicated either or some shit.... But I do hope that you guys like it, andand it's original, so no bases used (:
PS I'm not sure about the category so if it's wrong plese let me know (:
Omfg that hair is lovely ;_; It looks like it took a long time!! That pose is looovely *datass* and I love her eye ;-;
One thing that pops out to me is how straight the stripes are. I think it kind of takes away from the overall design and makes it kind of unbelievable ;n; It might take a little more effort, but drawing the stripes in to turn and bend along with the fabric would make it look a lot more realistic <3 I dunno what program you use, but it looks like you have the "changing colors of parts of this doll" down pretty well ;U; I'd think just doing a really thick pixel-line that goes with the movement would be the best bet? That way the thickness wouldn't fluctuate a lot and it'd still look amazing.
;__; If you didn't want CC I'm sorry, it's jsut something I noticed. Either way, this is a fantastic doll ;^; I would never be able to do something this big, especially from scratch!! Props to you ;A;!
;u; Thank you so much, especially for the critic, we both appreciate it and will remember it next time C:
For the stripes, well, we tied and when it didn't look that good, we made them straight, but then we didn't even think 'bout doing even little twitches and stuff . But tahnk you, we'll be sure to reme,ber that next time ~
Dude, don't worry, we love your critic, it's so helpful ~~
